Our school team (comprising students from Grades 8 and 9) secured the 1st Prize in the Skit Competition at UDAAN (An Interact Club Conference) organised by the Rotary Club of Juhu. Overall there were teams from over 18 schools that took part in this event,

DYPIS - Shankar Mahadevan Music Academy ties up
DYPIS has tied up with Shankar Mahadevan
Music Academy for teaching music to grades 4 and 5 from this
academic year. The official launch of this association was
held at Mayfair Banquets on Tuesday, 2nd August 2011. The
same was covered by The Mid Day newspaper.

Aur Rupaiya ," the initiative launched by the media as the
first of its kind, to enable our children to become more
responsible towards financial decision making. Such training
seeks to transform these students into the next generation
of prudent and responsible citizens, and even more
responsible borrowers. .Beating all the odds , braving four
rounds of competition, they defeated many prestigious
schools nationwide ,to emerge as the proud winners of the
All India CNBC AWAAZ competition, “Responsibility and
Rupaiya.”
The channel will air the competition and the final prize
distribution on the 31st March 2011 , Thrusday - 5pm to 6pm

TAISI 2010 Event
TAISI - The Association of International Schools in India
conducted an Interschool Athletic Meet at Vishwashanti
Gurukul, Pune from 18th to 20th, November 2010. Twenty
international schools from all over the country participated
in this meet. Karen Mistry of D Y Patil International School
secured first place in 100m run, 200m run, 400m run and
secured third place in Shot Put. She also received the Best
Player Award in her category.

Games

School Sports Federation of India (SSFI) Team that will
represent our country at the 62nd World School Games (FISEC)
2010 in Paris, France.

Karen Mistry of Grade 9 has
secured a first place in 100 mtrs run in girls under
14 category in the recently concluded Bombay City
District Annual Athletic Championship 2009-10. She
was awarded the trophy for being the fastest girl
under 14 category.
Karen Mistry of Grade 9th won 1st Prize in 100m run (in
girls under 14yrs) at the YMCA Open State Level Athletic
Competition which was held at Mumbai University Ground on
November 27th-29th,2009.
The Pirate's Ship @ DYPIS
DYPIS hosted the Pirate's Ship (an adaptation of the book
called The Pirate's Ship) on Wednesday, 2nd December 2009.
This play was presented by the Australian Group - Urban
Myth. The Afternoon Newspaper covered this with an article
on the 2nd page of their main edition dated 3rd December
2009.
