Award of the Diploma

Each examined subject is graded on a scale of 1 (minimum) to 7 (maximum). The award of the diploma requires students to meet defined standards and conditions including a minimum total of 24 points and a satisfactory completion of the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge course (TOK) and CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) activities. The maximum score of 45 includes three points for the combination of the Extended Essay and TOK.

University Recognition

IB Diploma holders gain admission to selective universities throughout the world. These include well-known Indian, European and American institutions such as IIT’s, H.R. College, N.M. College, Oxford, Yale, Harvard and MIT.

College and Career Counseling

DYPIS has tied up with Madhavi Desai Consulting Private Limited to provide career  guidance services to all their students studying in the IB Diploma Section (Grades 11 and 12) who are desirous of studying overseas after Grade 12.
